Eighty or so boys and young men participated in a new football camp called Commitment 4 Change, which aims to teach children from ages 8 to 17 how to better play the game — and equip them with what they need to succeed both on and off the field. The five-day camp was organized by retired Atlanta Falcon Keion Carpenter and former Green Bay Packer Antonio Freeman, both Baltimore natives.

In a perfect world, a marriage would last forever. Unfortunately, we do not live in a perfect world. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone's life. Not only is your life affected, but the lives of your entire family are as well. Divorce can be particularly trying if there are children involved. Wholesale changes and crucial decisions must be made. Who gets the house? What about visitation rights for the kids? These are just a few questions you must ask yourself while in the process of getting a divorce. As such, it is essential that you have competent Maryland divorce attorneys who understand the intricacies of divorce law to help you make this process go as smoothly as possible.

Are you or someone you getting a divorce and need the legal assistance of an experienced attorney? Our attorneys can help! Contact our Maryland Divorce Attorneys for a Free Case Evaluation today!

Grounds for divorce in Maryland include:
    • Adultery
    • Desertion
    • Voluntary Separation
    • Criminal Conviction
    • Insanity
    • Abusive Conduct
    • Cruelty

Across the country, marriages are coming to an end more frequently than ever before. In fact, recent studies show that almost half of all marriages end in divorce. It is safe to say that the phrase "till death do us part" has perhaps become a little outdated. Marriages end for a variety of reasons. Infidelity, abuse, or simply falling out of love are just a few. Whatever the reason, support and guidance is needed to help ease the transition following married life.

There are many obstacles to overcome following such a break up. The division and allocation of property and assets is one of the most important and difficult tasks. Often, if there is no prenuptial agreement, the battle for shared assets can become heated. In order to maintain civility, it is suggested that both parties have legal representation trained in divorce law in the state of Maryland. A more sensitive matter that often must be broached during such proceedings is that of child custody, child support, and child visitation rights. It is best to keep the child's best interests at heart during these difficult times. Our Maryland divorce attorneys at Goldberg, Finnegan, & Mester are available to assist on all of these matters.
